Are you an accountant? Can you file my taxes too?

No I am not an accountant, but I WILL work with them at tax time. Your accountant usually sees your books once a year or quarter. I'm more concerned with the day-to-day flow of money in your business and what it means to you.

I can e-file personal 1040 and business tax returns such as Schedule C.

Why can’t I just hire you at tax time?

If your main goal is to make the IRS happy, hiring someone only at tax time might work for you.

My goal is to give you a crystal clear picture of the state of your business. I want to help you grow and profit in the long run. (I help you record and document tax deductions properly so you are not paying more tax than necessary.)

I keep a finance tracking system going for you all year long. I like to think of is as audit proofing.

So I just give all of my receipts to you and don't have to think about it again?

Yes and no. I WILL manage your receipts (YAY!). And then each month, you'll receive a list of questions from me asking about certain transactions. As I get to know you, the list will get shorter and your software will recognize and categorize more transactions automatically.

Then we'll touch base with a monthly bookkeeping call to discuss your business and finances.

What software do you use?

I work mainly in QuickBooks Online. It integrates with many applications such as bank feeds, payroll, merchant accounts.

How do I know it's secure?

All of your information and documents are stored on the cloud with bank-level security and military grade encryption. I make absolutely sure that all information is completely safe and protected.
